SUMMER NAPE: LAND OF OPPORTUNITY?
Over the past 15 years, almost any buy in the patch could be financed. That’s not true today, but that doesn’t mean good opportunities aren’t available.
A bit more than a week into Summer Virtual NAPE, and, for me, the format has been a success. And international. I’ve had several productive meetings with folks from other hemispheres, both Eastern and Southern, seeking out the investment opportunities our current circumstance has created.
The presentation formats are, for me, a bit slow. Good content, but I’m not one for sitting through a recorded conversation. In The Future of Oil and Gas Capital Markets business conference session there was a crystallization of them all (not the prospect presentations, I haven’t watched those), based on the access to capital, “if you can’t put debt on it, you have to buy it right”.
In the 20’s, a century ago, the post war US economy was booming and almost any stock purchase was a good “investment”, many who later went broke did so because they were over-leveraged. Over the past 15 years, almost any buy in the patch could be financed. That’s not true today, but that doesn’t mean good opportunities aren’t available. Buying right starts with being sure you’re getting what you’re paying for.
TexhomaLand can help you with that.
